Action W/ Figures

Action W/ Figures or AW/F which can amusingly be pronounced as ‘awf’ as in a short form for awful. This series started in November 2008 with episode 1 and episode 2 a month later. There were no new episodes shot in 2009 but many plans were made and you’ll see those take form in 2010. The series really started with me being bored one afternoon and I started shooting scenes for a short film script I had written called “Stir Mad” which may still be finished someday. There was a scene where the character was going a little loopy and started reverting to his childhood. The serious character would do things that I ironically do in my own life except on an exaggerated level. One of the activities he indulged in was playing with some of the toys from his childhood and just being plain silly.

Episode 1 is one of the many things I had shot for that film isolated as it’s own segment. I had two alternate takes one involving Azrael and Doppelganger in a landlord/tenant sexual harassment scenario and the other one had something to do with figures watching television. When I do AW/F I write down a synopsis of where a story will start and where it will end and just improvise the rest. The final products are very rough and are just meant for laughs. It’s a lot of fun to do and I hope you keep watching! More on the way!

(episodes are listed from newest to oldest)

Action With Figures #2 : Batman Crackdown

AW/F=Action With Figures. It’s the demanded (by two) sequel of ridiculousness. A grown man playing with toys, please take with a grain of salt.

Action With Figures #1 : The Death of a Friend.

AW/F=Action with figures. Yeah… Brace yourself. It’s pretty stupid. It’s the end result of a boring afternoon and nothing to do.
